Your Family
We provide essential vaccinations and immunizations to help protect you from preventable diseases.
A Simple Shot for a Healthier Community
Vaccinations are one of the safest and most effective tools of modern medicine. They work with your body's natural defenses to build protection against serious, and sometimes deadly, diseases. At Advanced Family Care, we provide immunizations for patients of all ages in Lake Mary and DeBary, based on the latest CDC recommendations.

FAQs
Are vaccines safe?
Yes. Vaccines are extremely safe. They undergo rigorous testing and monitoring to ensure their safety and effectiveness. The risks associated with the diseases they prevent are far greater than the risks of the vaccines themselves.
When should I get a flu shot?
We recommend getting your flu shot every year in the early fall, typically in September or October, to ensure you are protected before flu season peaks.
Do I need a tetanus shot after an injury?
You may need a tetanus booster after an injury, especially a puncture wound or a cut from a dirty object. It’s generally recommended to get a tetanus booster every 10 years.
Are vaccinations covered by insurance?
Most insurance plans cover the cost of recommended preventive vaccines. We recommend checking with your provider to confirm your coverage.
Can I get my vaccines during a regular office visit?
Yes, in many cases, we can administer necessary vaccines during a routine check-up or a sick visit. Please let us know you are interested in vaccinations when you schedule your appointment.
